winners and angels

I'm so happy to announce the winners to our One Thousand Gifts giveaway. A huge thank you to Elizabeth for hooking us up with three copies of Ann Voskamp's book, One Thousand Gifts...and also to my spectacular blogging buddy, Julia, for donating the $50 Target gift card and $50 Amazon gift card.

And now for our winners!

Interesting how you finally connected with Elizabeth after your paths crossed before (in cyberworld anyway)... And the idea of staring to read with your toddler is not something I would ever have thought of, but why not try it?

I am so happy to hear that sweet Artem's fund has grown so large. I donated to him earlier this month.

Have a happy week!

I doubled that request and hope others are able to also. Lets go find Artem a family before Halloween. That would be so great and our Heavenly Father can do it!!

Lily is precious as always! Artem is on my heart and I acted on your challenge times 5. Now I will keep him in my prayers for a family! Keep loving like you do :D (rather told you privately, but I couldn't find a way to send an email).

Congratulations, ladies! Please email me with your addresses so Julia and I can get your prizes out to you.

If you didn't have a chance to read my last post, I'm taking a bit of a blog break for the time being. My sweet friend, Leah, a wonderful young lady who advocates passionately for Reece's Rainbow, did a little interview with me last month for her blog, Caring4Celine&CoraLynne if you'd like to take a peek at it.

Also, my daughter will be guest posting for me on our family blog, Notes From Home, in the next few days. She took some great pictures of our Halloween, and there will be some especially adorable ones of Lily as well.

She's sound asleep in our overstuffed chair right now, and the post is only halfway finished.... so it will probably be tomorrow that she actually posts:) In the mean time, here's a sneak peek of Lily thoroughly enjoying her lollipop after trick or treating downtown...

And since the Angel Tree Project on Reece's Rainbow has officially begun, I must post my little angels' pictures and ask you to please consider making a donation to their grant funds, by clicking on their photos on my sidebar.
You already know Artem:

And I am so excited to announce my newest little angel, Robyn:

Doesn't she just melt your heart? Love love love that gorgeous smile!

I will be back this month to blog my heart out for these two beautiful children. From now until Christmas I am praying every day that Robyn and Artem find their forever families. Will you join me in prayer? I have a GI-NORMOUS giveaway planned for them, starting the day after Thanksgiving. You will not want to miss a chance to win some amazing prizes, just in time for Christmas.

Until then, please consider giving to these children, and when the giveaway starts, be the first to comment and say you donated to their grant funds.
Thank you for all you've done to help save orphans- wonderful days ahead!!

Dude! Your costumes rock! All of them! Is that Tyler on the left? I don't even know what he is, but it made me feel like I saw the future...but like, a good future, like, I don't know why we need masks in the future, but maybe because we move really fast, like, not because things smell...

Kenz - I've never seen anybody dress up as a waitress from Red Lobster, that was awesome!

That was NOT Tyler. Tyler is as tall as Kenzie. That was Caleb. Tyler was taking the picture. All of the costumes were great. Captain America and the character standing next to him (cannot remember the name of the character) look so muscular. Can't tell if it is the costume or actual muscles.
