GREAT news.

Why isn't the angel tree updating today? When I pull it up, it adds "static" to the beginning of the link address and it's old information from yesterday or prior (Artem still shows the $13K number). If I pull up a child individually, from google, like Artem, his FSP is updated. I hope this gets fixed as a lot of people are probably pulling up the angel tree page and thinking nothing is being added!

because the angel tree only gets update once or twice a day...

Patti said...

sorry, twice an hour. and I happen to know the person updating was taking a much needed nap, LOL :)
sshhhh, don't tell Michelle I said that!

Awesome! I am so looking forward to hearing that a loving family will soon find him.

That Angel Tree page auto updates every half hour ... even when I'm napping ;)

Michelle,

Whether I pull it up from the internet/google search or from the home page, it takes me to this link which is not updating the numbers:
http://static.reecesrainbow.org/angeltreekids/

It's adding that "static" as a preface and if I delete it, it says page not found.

This just started happening to me last night (at home) and today when I look at work.

I noticed last night when I was on the site it was completely different (different picture on the home page of trees and a person walking, but with all the same drop down options). I'm not sure if an upgrade is going on or what but it was completely different looking and now I'm getting that "static" link.

These updates always give me goosebumps. :) I'm really excited for the one that says, "Artem has a family!" God bless you Patti for advocating for this sweet boy.

Money schmoney, did you read Toby's comment?!?!?!?!

A family for Artem!!!! Good and merciful Lord please help these potential people pass their home study. I ask this in Jesus name. Mary, Artem needs a mother and father, please intercede for him.

Sue, the static page helps us with our server not get overwhelmed with hits ... it updates twice an hour.

http://static.reecesrainbow.org/angeltreekids/

And yes, if you take the "static" away, it's not going to take you to a real page, sorry.

It's been updating for me all day -- maybe try a different browser?!

AND, if you click through to a child's profile, those are still updating instantly when donations are made.

Oh, I am so sorry I sounded the trumpets too early! Really I am. I was just so happy. $16k is not too bad though, and I can't help but think this beautiful boy's family is coming to claim him soon!
