Jack looks so proud in that first picture with Lily and I love that he is a part of these giveaways!
I found you and Lily through a comment you left on another blog ~ it pays to be the first commenter if you KWIM. Just like Cathy, I hope we can meet some day.
Nicole, send me your address so I can ship your pretty new necklace to you!
My post announcing Albina's forever family is still waiting in the wings...as soon as I get the okay, I will hit publish! I am so excited to see the day her family brings her home and puts a smile on that cute little face:)
And just a little shout out to last week's winner, all the way from Canada, Rachael P.
Rachael, you look stunning in your new hairclip!
If you haven't had a chance to read the comment section on yesterday's giveaway post, please do ...so many brought tears to my eyes, because I love our little blogging community so much and obviously a lot of you feel the same way.
Just one more piece of exciting news, and then I'm headed to bed.
Last week I was doing my best to stop the bus and not worry about what the future held for Lily as far as speech and cognitive development. And while I still think it is very true to try hard not to compare or measure the future by each milestone delayed or met, I am also going to celebrate those milestones for the miracles they are when they happen.
Today Lily said "more." Signed and said it. About 6 times! And you should have seen the smarty party at the Rice Ranch!! Cheers, screaming, clapping, and a million YAY LILY's !!!! followed by excited phone calls to Daddy, Mackenzie, and anyone else we thought would be impressed. Her first real word.
And if the huge proud grin on her face was any indication of what's to come, I bet we are going to get an earful in the days ahead!
Be back soon!
