Why I blog

I read THIS POST today- with a gigantic lump in my throat and tears stinging my eyes.

Julia was the little girl who Adeye wrote about in her post called "The Most Important Post I Have Ever Written".

That post inspired my giveaways, and I just can't tell you how happy I will be when I read a post like THIS ONE about Olga and Kareen and Peter and Artem some day.

Don't let anyone get you down. You have been chosen above all others for your inner strength and beauty. God gave you your special Lily because she needed someone as strong as you to be able to stand beside her as she goes on this journey through life. You are blessed.

Keep yelling! Today was so bitter sweet - Julia met her family and Kirill was denied a family (www.covenantbuilders.blogspot.com) We press on. We cry and weep and we keep on fighting. We pray - we yell - we shout - we rejoice - we love. We love. We love because He loved. First. Too many are not loved. Rejected. Dear Lord come soon!

Patti, I know that this was a very tough decision for you, but I am so grateful that you are going to continue to blog, to be honest, and to share your experiences. Your blog has helped people. I know because it has helped me. I send people to your blog and they come back to tell me how much it has changed them.

On a different note, I cried when I looked at that post. Oh Julia! I remember reading Adeye's original post. Cried then too. Blogs do make a difference. Stay strong, Patti. You have so many supporters.

Girl, I did not raise you to be a quitter. You keep on fighting, praying and plugging along and we all will follow. Kopp's and Rice's DO NOT QUIT. God did not put you where you are today for you to quit, remember: when the going gets tough the tough get going. We are all behind you, may not always pat you on the back but we are there and more importantly...God is ALWAYS with you

Patti- I am SO thankful for you!!! I am SO thankful for your voice of truth shedding light into the darkness. I am SO thankful for your kind heart. You are a clear picture of a woman dying to herself and living for Him in order to serve others. Anyone that would be a critic to you, I am sad for because they must not know love. You shine God's love, and you are an amazing lady. Lily could not have gotten a better mommy. All your kids could not have gotten a better mommy. I know they would shout that too. I am SO glad you will continue blogging and advocating and speaking truth with love. If people do not like what they read, which is crazy to me, then they just should not read. Love you,Cara

I don't know what I would do without your blog so please don't ever quit! :) And, as a special education teacher and someone who advocates for kids with special needs on a daily basis, we so BADLY NEED mom's and people like you!!! You are FANTASTIC and Lily is just a gem. Thank you for the gift of your blog and for sharing your life and your Lily with us.

Patti- you have strengthened my own heart today. You and Lily and Reagan (who valiently faced those "vampires" who were terribly clumsy with the needles in her pre-op) and all of our beautiful mommies and children with Ds! We will pray without ceasing about the "no" judge and rejoice without ceasing for the victories!
